"Fraser" is scattered with beautiful scenic lakes, some with crystal clear water, others stained with the surrounding tea tree oil. Excursions to the island include a drive along Seventy-five Mile Beach, the world's most amazing highway.

Walk up to Indian Head for amazing views and marine life spotting including humpback whales during the May- Oct migration period. Hike through the beautiful 200 year old rainforest covering the center of the island.

"Fraser" is also noted for its shipwrecks. The number of vessels known to have been lost in or around these waters must be something of a record. Driving on the beach, you cannot miss the wreck of the Maheno.
