Western Australia
Vast, barren and remarkably untouched, Western Australia is the wild wild west. In-between ‘So laid back we’re horizontal’ Perth and Broome in the far north you’ll have a close encounter with dolphins in Monkey Mia and swim with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef. On bushwalks you’ll encounter many odd rock formations; the Bungle Bungles, the spikey Pinnacles, Wave Rock and the World’s largest rock, Mt Augustus (twice the size of Uluru). Farther north is the remote Kimberley region- only open in the dry months, or head south to visit world famous Margaret River and highest tree top lookout in the world.
